has now become too big for me to handle

The Beach Market will no longer be operating.

Xmas Market 2009

The Xmas Market saw good weather

great wine & food, & fabulous wares.

As always, the stallholders displayed an impressive range of handmade goodies for sale.

The addition of the Friday Evening Market proved a huge success, with customers streaming through the doors at 4pm.

So many great comments were made about the quality of the products on offer.

As the weather was good, we also had some additional outdoor stallholders, and the children really enjoyed the use of the sandpit and fort, as well as the stream of endless bubbles, not to mention our fabulous Fire Performer on Friday evening.

Many Thanks to all the wonderful stallholders and to all our fabulous customers, who keep coming back for more.

The Xmas Market looks to be our BEST EVER

Wine tasting & sales by Meadowbank Vineyard

Sausage Sizzle by Surf Lifesaving & B'Bay Primary

Juices, Smoothies & Muffins by Juiced Up Cafe

.....not to mention all the divine decorations,

gorgeous gifts, fresh flowers & creative cards & craft.

We also have a table set up on the stage for customers to sit down, whilst they eat & drink - and a stall that will do all your Gift Wrapping for you!!

Let's just hope for good weather, so then we can set up the play area outside for all the little ones.

The Mercury feature has inspired some more Creative people to come out of the closet. We now have a few more plants for sale - which is fabulous, and also a Tarot Reader, which is great.

We are still seeking someone to take over the

Coffee Shop.

Also, if there are any fresh produce or plant/flower people out there who would like to be involved, please contact me.

We also have space for a non-profit organisation to run a sausage sizzle.

We have even more than before, including a sausage sizzle to be held by the Illawarra School and a stall by the Swanston Street Centre.

I popped into The Market along Sandy Bay Road on Sunday, and found a wonderful mix of fantastic local craft, and a great buzzing atmosphere. Some of our own stallholders where there selling their wares.

The Beginning

It all started with a conversation over breakfast at 'The Beach' Restaurant in Blackmans Bay. We have so many talented people out there, looking for an outlet to sell their wares - so why not start up a Market!
We decided on The Hall at Blackmans Bay Beach.
It will be held every Season: Summer, Autumn, Winter, Spring, and also a special Xmas Market in December.
